If there’s one thing I’ve noticed more than anything in the boutique over the past few years, it’s this…
Ladies aren’t giving up on style, they’re just not willing to be uncomfortable anymore.
And honestly? I completely understand it.
It’s Not That We Don’t Love Heels Anymore…
I still see it every day, a customer tries on a beautiful pair of heels, looks in the mirror and you can just see it…
That little smile!
That moment where you stand a bit taller and feel instantly more put together.
That hasn’t gone anywhere.
But what has changed is this:we want that feeling without the pain that used to come with it.
Life Is Busier, And Our Shoes Have Had To Keep Up
So many of our customers say the same thing to me:
“I just need something I can actually walk in all day.”
Whether it’s shopping in Westbourne, heading into Bournemouth town, or travelling further afield, we’re all doing more steps than ever.
And when you’re on your feet all day, the wrong shoes just don’t work anymore.
That’s why we’ve seen such a big move towards:

lighter, more flexible designs
And yes… a lot more trainers too!
But Here’s The Thing… Heels Haven’t Disappeared
Heels aren’t dead... They’ve just got better.

I always say to customers, it’s not about not wearing heels anymore…it’s about wearing the right ones.
What I’m Loving Right Now
If you came into the shop and asked me what I’d recommend, I’d probably show you:
A gorgeous wedge sandal, gives you height but feels so stable
A soft loafer, smart but incredibly easy to wear
A low heel pump, perfect for occasions without the ache
Or a fashion trainer, styled properly, they can look so chic
It’s all about mixing comfort with a bit of elegance.
The Biggest Change I’ve Seen
This is the part I love the most…
Women aren’t trying to “put up with” shoes anymore.
They’re choosing shoes that actually suit their lifestyle and still make them feel amazing.
And the confidence that comes from that?It’s even better than any heel.
